This is going to sound like a really lame reason why I stopped blogging but…

I just replaced my archaic computer. Archaic as in yes, it was actually too much hassle to start it up just to write a blog post. Horrible right. I was blogging at work, well, work, hah I was blogging on my office computer while I was a graduate student, but then I finished up, and well, thems the breaks. But, after a few months of being forced to deal exclusively with the old beast I caved and am currently the proud new owner of a MacBook Pro, essentially the same computer I have been working on for the past seven years except, well, the new one.

So, hello again if anyone is still here. The past few months have been eventful. I moved inside Zurich, and next month kind of move to Geneva. I got a grownup job. I printed and finished editing my thesis. I ran a mountain trail race. I ran a lot. I went on several snazzy weekends away with the new American Boy. Long story short, if you guys bear with me, the updating process might almost be as interesting as the actual life was!

About adventuresunplugged

The world is a really cool place. I moved to Zurich almost three years ago to start my PhD, and have really enjoyed the different opportunites living close to the Swiss alps offered. This blog is about some of my adventures, climbing, mountaineering, rock climbing, traveling... life in general! Wow, haven't updated this bad boy in some time! While the above is still true I have gone on to finish the PhD, so that is Dr Unplugged to you. I also have landed a job in Switzerland and will be shortly moving to Geneva. Clearly I have some adventures ahead left to explore with you guys along for company!
