Not quite. But thats rather what it feels like after Monday.
So in about 7 weeks I go to MADAGASCAR the real island with German Boy and a German crew for three weeks to do nerdy stuff. Which means vaccineeesss!
I have an excellent vaccine record. Its a crooked, photo copied, faxed hand written list from the late 80s. My GP laughed a bit, and then started questioning me. We sorted out the yes and maybes and defniitely not, confirmed I probably wouldn’t be getting blood transfusions (what with my access to swiss medical jets), and off i went to get my arm pumped up. No, scratch that, arms.
Hep A, a polio update, and the last of a never ending series against ticks later, I was ready to head home and wait for the carnage. It wasn’t actually as bad as I was expecting, but a general blehness interspersed with teeth shattering bone deep chills, then back to the bleh. But, now I certainly feel like I have some super powers 🙂
I will be starting the typhus ones in a few weeks, and the malaria prophylaxis just before we go. Definitely indestructible.
(oh and summer has been cancelled this year in switzerland. no sun, no fun, just rain and cold. Its been cheap at least)
