I love books, basically any and all, but lately I have been building a library of climbing and mountaineering related books. I have been trying to avoid digital versions, because well, libraries rock. Obviously everything cannot be learned solely from a book, but adding in books and other literature to courses, guided trips, and self practice is certainly a good way to become a well rounded climber. So I splurged, I already had a book on Winter and Snow techniques from the same crew, and really liked it. I can strongly recommend it as a comprehensive handbook for technique and skills, with really good illustrations and clear instruction. So I got the rest.
