It was an entertaining week, in a sort of low key normal kind of life that makes you shake your head and laugh.
We have: two highly educated scientists, between them posessing no less than five advanced degrees in science, building a fort out of the buckets we use to store garbage before we autoclave it. That’s right. A fort. It ended up head high, and spanned the width of the hallway. Apparently it wasn’t to lock anyone inside a lab, or go bowling afterwards, apparently, they just wanted to build it for fun.
We have some flowers, we got the flowers over two weeks ago, and we put that stuff that comes with them to keep them awesome in the water. Uusally I don’t bother, but two weeks later we have flowers looking picture perfect flowers, with rotten leaves, because they have been inside the water long enough for the stems to go rotten, but weirdly, the flowers look amazing.
Then, I was on a mini hike, when I got passed by a full platoon of the Swiss Army, out for a jog, while singing and yelling BO-RAH at the top of their lungs. In an idyllic valley with rolling green hills, yellow flowers, some stark rock mountains shooting up in the background, really the place you would expect to see an Army platoon :-).
